Hi Krishnakant,
"ctrl + tab did not take me to bottom panel in the first place"
wasn't alt_ctrl_tab?

That's very ... strange. Did ubuntu mate maybe disable that keyboard
shortcut? Anyway, you got everything working, so that's good, but that's
still odd.
Thanks

Not accessible? You mean you couldn't get to it or that orca wouldn't
read it? If you couldn't get to it, press control+alt+tab to get to
the
bottom panel. Then, while on the botom panel press
control+alt+shift+tab. This should land you on the top panel
ctrl + tab did not take me to bottom panel in the first place.
I had to press ctrl + alt + esc to go to it.
Then nothing took me to top panel.
Any ways I customized my interface to use netbook view and added every
thing to top panel.
Now it works.
Happy hacking.
Krishnakant.
