So in this case Ximian did the right thing. And as someone else pointed
out, db3 doesn't take a whole lot of space.
One more question: is db3 3.2.19 able to read the DBses written by
3.1.17. AFAIK the answer is yes. Hopefully each 3.x.? version will be
able to read the data created by 3.x-1.? version. So I see no problems
with upgrade.
