As Luis said earlier, the burden is on you to show why this is detrimental
to the Foundation, as others have seen the above reasoning to be fair and
worthwhile.
I might be mistaken but I view the situation slightly different. There
is an existing system
(yes, it is not perfect). Some people propose a change and I am raising
some concerns.
Till now I have seen a lot of response of "why" this change is needed
(and I have to repeat
that I understand the problem). However, I still have to see answers on
my concerns.
I clear understand that probably not a lot of people on this list would
listen to what I am
saying. Anyway I thought that I should share my concerns and thoughts on
the subject
because this change seems wrong to me. By now this thread went wild and
I guess the
positions are clear. As Daniel pointed out, my concerns are not shared
between others
thus I would suggest to stop the discussion. II doubt that you can
change my opinion
on the subject and probably you woudn't change yours. I would be glad
if proposed new
system would include (if possible) an option to vote "in open" in
addition to the "anonymous"
mode as I suggested in another message. This would make myself feel
better :)
Thanks to everyone and sorry for wasting your time on reading this thread :)
Aleksey
