Evo allows you to do this (in recent versions) but it's not ideal. The
IMAP model is strongly oriented towards deletion by mark-and-expunge.
If your accounts are IMAP-based then that's what you want to use. The
alternative is only there to support non-IMAP services such as
Exchange.
