Subject: Re: [Evolution] Big problems with evo

Deleting the account does not delete the
.local/share/evolution/mail/imap /_my_account_
Why?

Question remains unanswered!

?

 manually deleting the .local/share/evolution/mail/imap folder?

No, don't go around fiddling with folders that programs expect to remain
consistent.

I did delete the folder, no change!

Still applies. On another computer I created an IMAP account (same as
before). Same problem as before: No mails are found in the newly
created folder. evo is just downloading the folder content over and
over in an infinite loop!!!

This comes up when all folder data has been downloaded:
(evolution:15297): camel-imap-provider-WARNING **: No information for
message 1

Then download starts again.

The workaround I found was to download the
whole .local/share/evolution/mail/imap/_my_account_ from another
computer which had not crashed by the conversion from .evolution
to .local!!

After trying several times downloading from scratch form the mail
server, my conclusion is that there is a bug hidden somewhere in evo
communicating with the M$ Exchange IMAP server! Where to file the bug
report, bugzilla? Any hints on formulations?

This is really a critical bug!
