Hi Hank,

Like I said in my prior e-mail I just went into the view settings and 
removed the sidebar, the statusbar, and basically everything that I 
could turn off, and set it to icon view which seems to load faster than 
listing the files and folders. Now, Nautilus seems to run fast enough 
for my needs.
