Re: [orca-list] Nautilus slowness

Hi Thomas,
The only problem I see with this approach of turning off the side bar is that now I can't safely remove my pendrive by pressing the tab key to the list of devices from within the file browser.
I used to do it before and it was very good.
Now I need to go to the launcher and safely remove the pen drive.
Happy hacking.
Krishnakant.

Hi Hank,

Like I said in my prior e-mail I just went into the view settings and removed the sidebar, the statusbar, and basically everything that I could turn off, and set it to icon view which seems to load faster than listing the files and folders. Now, Nautilus seems to run fast enough for my needs.
