There are two different aspects that must be maintained separatelly :
* DOAP xml template : It should be done with PSC equipment and on trunk
version. We can begin a new thread about the implementation .
- doap_feed : Simone do you have some first version of this template
? Do you have access to collective to upload it to trunk skin directory
? I think that is much better is we create it throw a Z3 Browser View on
a python script ( so we can use xmllib to parse it )
First of all no, I don't have any doap_feed version.
Second, I've never used nor know the use of Five and all the Views, Adapters and the general structure of the Z3 CA. What I've done for now is some reading about the subject (not enough to give me a sufficient knowledge tho). I'm working to fill this gap :D.
Said these two things, would be intresting to use the approach you're proposing, since it would allow us to have a better code, that could be easily ported through versions without the fear of losing anything.
I don't know what we have to parse tho (unless I'm missing a key feature), maybe you mean using xmllib to generate the XML?
Anyway, from what I have been able to understand of Z3 Views, I've seen that PSC (svn) has a somewhat embrional view implementation in browser/; so I guess we can use this work in order to retrieve our data for the doap_feed.pt (we can use the project_view for this).
I'll create a new thread to post my implementation ideas though.

<Ivyshaur> No, we've been informed that listening to Rammstein is the best way to learn German.
<mrPants> You learn it very quick
<mrPants> The problem is that you only know how to talk about sodomy, canibalism, incest, and death
<granola> there are other things to talk about?
<mrPants> Not in germany
