OK. So, it appears to be more the Evo version is buggy since I already
have gnome-pilot-2.0.10. I may take a look at Evo 1.4.5 when it comes
out, but...

I am really coming to like working with Sylpheed-claws. I probably
won't go back to Evo again. All I have to do now is spend some time
figuring out how to get JPilot and Sylpheed-claws to see each other.
It's in Sylpheed's menu...

No, it wasn't, but if you look at my original post's Subject line and
body I made that clear. That's why I had to assume your comments were
directed toward *ALL* versions known.

Understood.

Makes sense, now. I am running Evo 1.4.4...

Your statements have come to be clearer over several replies. For that,
I thank you. As I see it, the banter has not been for naught as each
time I have badgered you more pieces to the puzzle have come out and are
known. This will now explain, to those interested, why some can sync
while others can't, and under what circumstances, software versions and
operating systems(in my case, Mandrake 9.1)

AND....for those of us that are going to hang on to MDK 9.1 beyond the
release of 9.2, it's "probable" that a future release of Ximian's Evo
will be fixed.

This is what I needed to know.

Thanks,

Paul
