Found it (the HEAD still lacks the xml-i18n-toolization feature...).
I'm wondering whether it's actually needed to ship 3 xml-i18n-tools
scripts with every package? From Makefile.am:
EXTRA_DIST = \
sgmldocs.make \
control-center.spec.in \
xml-i18n-extract.in \
xml-i18n-merge.in \
xml-i18n-update.in
We don't ship xgettext neither and the user is able to compile the
package.
