sorry I meant Alberts.
I am not installing gnome-panel in /usr. I am just compiling with
--prefix=/usr, because that way I don't need to install panel. I can
launch it simply running gnome-panel/gnome-panel --replace.
Yes, but then you use libpanel-applet and the applets as supplied by
your distribution. An when you send us a patch that touches
gnome-panel/libpanel-applet/... , it means you haven't actually tested
that part at all. That makes me a very unhappy maintainer.
