Re: [gDesklets] The What's New page(s)

Hi there,

I just thought it might be a good idea to inform the users and developers about the changes and improvements to the latest release of gDesklets (like e.g. GNOME does it). So I grabbed the GNOME 2.22 release notes and started to hack in a release note for gDesklets 0.36.

The first release candidate of this page can be found here:
http://gdesklets.zencomputer.ca/whatsnew/0.36/

There's still more to be done (e.g. changing the Clock and Quote of the Day screenshots, putting it into XHTML) and written, but I guess this is a pretty good starting point. Furtheremore there might still be a few mistakes and strange sentences (English is not my native language), so corrections and comments are always welcome!

If someone wants to translate this page I would be glad to make a German tranlation, too ;).

So, please give me some feedback!

A page for 0.36.1 will be started soon.

Greetings, Bjoern

Good job Bjorn,

the only thing I'm missing is the new basic Documentation or Manual on using gDesklets available from the shell menu (Help->Contents) that I have written ;) As far as I remember it was added firstly in 0.36.

Cheers,

Robo
