Most likely you need to install a guest yourself. You should find a
distro that maintains Evolution packages that are up to date and that
perhaps provides a package management you are used to.
Arch Linux provides up-to-date maintained Evolution packages, but it's
not a user-friendly distro and doesn't use DEBs, so likely not what you
want.
Perhaps Debian Sid might fit to your needs.
