To get rid of those messages make sure that dbus is running and that you
have libcanberra-gtk-module installed. But I don't think the messages
are fatal.
It is installed, and dbus is running, still
Gtk-Message: Failed to load module "canberra-gtk-module"
canberra is just for playing sounds, so I doubt that is stopping Evo
from working.
As for dbus, make sure that there is version of dbus-daemon running
owned by you (not just the system one).
I have three mail accounts, two imap, one imap+, none works-> no
internet connection.
CAMEL_DEBUG=imapx:io evolution >& logfile
and that will print out just the imap chatter.
Inlined below, nothing special
Nothing special, but it is important....
[imapx:A] camel_imapx_read: buffer is '* OK IMAP4 PROXY server ready

[imapx:C] camel_imapx_read: buffer is '* OK The Microsoft Exchange IMAP4
service is ready.

B00001 OK Thats all she wrote! y10if628418lal.192
So, as you said you have three IMAP accounts: an Exchange one, a Gmail
one and a proxy IMAP server. The important thing is that in order to
get those capabilities listings Evo must be able to talk on the network
and communicate with the IMAP server(s), so it's not an issue with the
network.
Is that all the output from the debug log? After the capability
interrogation it should go on to try and login.
If you click on Send / Receive what happens? If it can't talk on the
net, it will come up with an error - at least it should give some
indication as to why it's not retrieving messages.
