Re: Fwd: Rygel v0.28.2 on Fedora 23/pulseaudio - using Kodi as Renderer fails

And fixed on master.

For some reason, it worked fine with my launchlines (which used the pulse default monitor, but also hat a "." in them) but failed with upnp.monitor. Rygel then made everything after the "." the file extension and added it to the uri.

I'm using Rygel on Fedora 23, installed fresh a couple of months ago
now, fedora is known to use the latest and greatest libraries and
gnome.
Could this be due to some new library or similar that changed
behavior?
Is there any log I capture or test/debug I could do to expose this?
I'm really looking forward to getting Rygel in my linux desktop to
work with Kodi on my linux HTPC :)

Hi,

I just tested the same on a Fedora 23 + Kodi 15.2 (official
package), same problem, no audio, a "playback failed" error shows
in
Kodi after about a minute of attempting to play the stream.

I captured a wireshark trace, communication between Rygel
(0.29.1.19-4022-dirty) and Kodi 15.2 in my linux desktop.

Thanks. This is really weird, your rygel generates uris like
http://127.0.0.1:65530/GstLaunch/i/bXlhdWRpb3dhdg%3D%3D/res/primary_http.monitor
[2] ! wavenc which is obviously wrong. I think there is something
broken here with the pseudo-suffix handling. Wonder why I didn't see
it.
