Wow. I desperately hope it's not a problem with my computer. I went out on a limb and bought an HP Pavilion laptop with an AMD (5500 with Radeon graphics) CPU rather than an Intel CPU.
I'm running Fedora 35 MATE-Compiz here, and haven't noticed a crash
using Brave probably in about a month or more. Firefox on the other hand
did crash a time or two, about 3 weeks or so ago, but I think that's
fixed now as well. I may try Brave with my job again. That was the one
place where I saw it crash out the most. But I think as long as Firefox
works with that website, I'll keep using what I know works. It's good
that my web phone that I also use with work seems to be working much
better now that Firefox 98 is out. So I can use a single browser, which
is good.
