Undoubtedly so, especially when you also consider that Ubuntu is developing
its own display server as an alternative to the Wayland project.
Indeed. I know that GNOME is starting to look at the Accessibility
related changes which will need to be made as a result of switching to
to Wayland. I hope Canonical is doing the same thing for theirs.
I'm on it.
Its also worth noting that we are moving away from GNOME in terms of the desktop, given we want to offer a
converged interface, so this means Qt/QML. The existing accessibility stack will be used of course, because
its the standard, and works etc, and Qt5 already has good support for it.
