Why?
I'll tell you why. I use it quite often if I'm unsure of what letter
I just heard. When you have the synth wound up real tite, say near
300 words per minute, I might not be able to tell 's' from 'f' so if I
tap the read char key twice I hear the phonetic spelling. Now whether
that comes from the screen reader or from the synth, well, that's
another matter. I would probably agree that the screen reader should
do it since it takes screen reader commands to invoke the function.
