Hi.  Python-speechd is a package specific to Debian and Ubuntu.  Debian and Ubuntu split speech-dispatcher
into several packages.
It is a bad idea to assume all Linux distros do things the same way.  When you see a post from someone 
running a
different distro from you, don't reply unless you know how that distro does things.  If you reply any way, 
you just confuse everyone and look bad.
