Hi.  If you can't redirect the output to a file, you can use ORca to copy text from
the terminal to the clipboard.  Use flat review to goto the beginning of the text and press keypad slash 
(left click).
Goto the end of the text and press shift-slash (shift left click).  Now, you can press shift-control-c to 
copy the selected text to the clipboard.  You could
also shoose copy from the edit menu.  Open a file in gedit and press control-v to paste the contents of the 
clipboard.
