I tried this, but SD is silent. Perhaps you must do extensive configuring, 
but that seems to be one more of the large "advantages" of that "sound 
revolution" *scnr*

But I want to use mplayer with its standard settings, and that means Alsa; 
is this impossible with Pulseaudio?
