Re: [GnomeMeeting-list] problems with gnomemeeting

I was just trying to say that my input and output devices are working
thats all. I thought maybe those devices werent being recognized by ALSA
or OSS because they were not working properly. I merely stated those
facts to show my soundcard and microphone weren't putting out output,
thats all. I am sorry for making this so confusing. I just wanted to do
some tests to see how VoIP affects bandwidth. I chose linux since i
wanted access to free source code i didn't want to pay a company in
windows just to do some testing. I have never had to deal with compiling
source code and stuff before this, i am from the windows and mac world
so i might be nieve to all this new stuff. So i ran across gnomemeeting
and figured i would give that a shot. I appologize that i look like an
idiot, all i want to do is get gnomemeeting running so i can do a few
tests and correlate that to other data that i have. Should i try to
unistall all the files related to gnomemeeting, pwlib and openh and
start from scratch? I just am not sure what i did wrong that my devices
aren't being recognized. If this is the case and i can uninstall
everything and start from scratch what are the rpms that i would need to
install to get gnomemeeting working, because obviously I am not
explaining myself very well and i did something wrong.
