You will have to backport and build them yourself, or file bugs in Launchpad to persuade someone else to do it. You could start by backporting libflickrnet2.1.5-cil - I don't think that many dependencies have actually changed. It is more useful in the long term for you to prepare for Hardy. Hardy will be out in just a few months, and is an LTS release - so I'd prefer to see stable f-spot packages by then. This requires: 1. Fixing the showstopper bugs in the Debian unstable packages (I'm hoping to fix the extensions problems this weekend). 2. Talking nicely to the relevant Ubuntu maintainer to get the fixed version of f-spot uploaded before any version freezes. The packages proposed by Roland are going to be including quite a few random patches from Bugzilla and SVN trunk, as I understand it. It would be helpful if you could test them, because I'd like to include some of these patches in the Debian packages, where appropriate. These will then also go into Ubuntu. -- Tim Retout <tim retout co uk>
