I think better would be to make it apply to all folders, it would

Hi,
there is that Edit->Preferences->Mail Preferences->General tab-
Message
Display section->Apply the same view settings to all folders option,
but I'm not sure whether it means also the search itself.
There are few/many users using different searches in different
folders
at the same time though, thus, I'd say, both solutions have their
pros
and cons.
Bye,
Milan
Hi Milan
What I meant was when you use the search using the folder option , to have the same search parameter if you
change folder.
The current search is ignored if you change folder, unless you select current account, and then you get
everything that
meets the search parameter displayed.
I have over 20 folders, so its nice to be able to search folder by folder with same search parameter.
If I read a mail on my phone, its marked as read, and sometimes depending on filtering the mail could go into
several different folders,
when I process it on the laptop.
Just a nice feature, but only worth adding if you are reworking the search facilities, nothing urgent about
it.
Thanks
