Actually, there's a good reason why I shall not be using IMAP:
My ISP doesn't support IMAP on its regular mailboxes.
   To use IMAP I would have to shell out £££££'s for full hosting
with a domain, and as a pensioner I have to take care of the pennies. :-(

I am much impressed with Evolution, and with the knowledgeable traffic in
this newsgroup.
