My current thought is to have the contacts display appear with only
people whose last name (or more properly File As) starts with that
letter.
Since they were copied from Outlook, shouldn't they do what they do in
Outlook?
Also, think about non-Latin encodings at least once while figuring out
what to do with them. [I believe Outlook 2002 lets you change the
charset of the alphabet tabs.]
