I'm missing variables for year and cd-number for the file and folder
patterns. Imho they are essential.

Please add to the bug I had linked: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=566949. Those may be able to be added.

FWIW, "Disc number" should be part of the album name IMO, though I can understand why you wouldn't necessarily want that.
