Excluding translations and autoconf artifacts, the diff from current
svn (no cvs anymore) to what I think was the 1.3 release (svn revision
4077. Anyone knows better?) is about 92k. There's more than tweaks
there.

The translations diff is about 2Mb.

If we manage to get that wiki space going, maybe we should do at least
a 1.3.1.

Maybe you could use debian's tarball as if it was a release?

Careful with that, tought. It's a straight svn checkout, meaning you
need to run aclocal;autoconf on it before calling ./configure
