[orca-list] new user Raspberry Pi: what specific model and operating system can we install orca?

Hi,
i am planning to get Raspberry Pi since from what i understand, it is
very liteweight, portable and easy to carry (because no screen, need
to connect to external screen). so what model (specific one) that i
should look for as a new user?
also for Raspberry Pi, can we use popular operating system such as
ubuntu or arch linux? because these operating systems have orca and we
can easily install it if it is not included for some reason. because
from what i read, raspbian is Raspberry Pi's operating system but not
sure whether we can change it or not. If cannot change the default
operating system or it's hard for beginner like me to do it, how to
turn orca on raspbian (if it is there) or how to install orca (if it
is not there yet)?

also additional question, it uses memory card right for storage. so
for frequent write and read operation, will it damage the memory card?
How long normalyy if any of you have experience using Raspberry Pi,
how long it last normally for 1 memory card before it breaks?

also is there a list for Raspberry Pi screen reader users?

thanks much
