Also, one more message too. Been using it off and on for a good
six months. It's stupidly fast and stable, and (for Mate at least)
it's not as bad as people think. It ust does things a bit
differently. I like it, though I don't like their idea of saying
oh hey, we got a software repo, but we won't add X Y Z in because
of opinions. Then turning around and saying hey, you can build
your software yourself and make it work, but........we're not
gonna add it in the repo. Or saying nah, there's a
flatpack/appimage/etc, use that instead. Though that was months
ago so they have, no doubt, got more apps in their repo now and
fixed up a ton of stuff. I'm impressed they got the bta of stuff
in there that you don't usually expect.....though again, I'd like
to update Orca on my instal as I said. Still, for Mate, the Brisk
menu (aesssed with the Super/Windows key) works amazingly well.
I'm biased. I adore the Redmond layout. Now if I could get that in
Solus Mate, and get a few essentials in, I'd be sorted. I'll
admit, I'm not inding a ton of guides to compile on Solus but..... On 04/01/2019 18:03, Dave Hunt via
