Solus is an independent distribution that comes in flavors for
each of Gnome, Mate, and their flagship, Budgie desktops. It is a
rolling release, though not moving in sync with others like Arch.
Its target user is the home pc user for desktop, multimedia, etc.

In case you haven't kept up with all the discussion, All the live
media are accessible. Only in the Gnome version, is the installer
accessible. The community is largely unfamiliar with accessibility
concerns, though Mate and Budgie live medkia... It's probably not
hopeless.
