I never said that chrome was faster, and did not read any other msg saying it was.
There was a time when chromium did have issues re accessiblity that chrome did not, and for that matter there
was a time, wayu back when, when only the dev
branch of chromium worked with some screen readers, chrome did not work at all then, nor did stable chromium
for that matter; but that was 5 years ago more
or less.

I'm not sure how Chrome could be faster than Chromium, since they have the
same codebase. Nothing is in Chrome that isn't in Chromium, except some
proprietary stuff that is integrated into Chrome, but is available as
plugins for Chromium. There is nothing in Chrome that changes its overall
behavior in any way as compared to Chromium.
