As I have mentioned before, I have received a refreshable Braille

agency for my job and I am not a blind entitlement baby.

The two braille displays that I have owned were both purchased by me, with
significant contributions from scholarships and similar sources that offered
assistance to students.

I now also have access to displays via work.

I think BRLTTY under Linux is excellent braille display software, especially
when used at the console. Braille display support in Orca has some
long-standing issues, including the word-wrap problems mentioned earlier in
this thread. Also, if you use panning keys on the braille display, Orca
presents the application using flat review, which isn't ideal.

The problem with flat review, and this is especially true in braille, is that
it offers only the text portions of the interface. You can't read and interact
with the full hierarchy of controls.
