No, of course not. Two different programs never have identical commands unless
one was written to replace the other.

Type ? while in Mutt, and read its manual

Probably not - IMAP is much better than POP. You don't want to use POP
anymore.

Using Fetchmail or Offline IMAP would solve your performance issues as well.
