Actually, if you've compiled and installed it, check if your java
installation has the file java-atk-wrapper.jar in the jre/lib/ext
directory,
Yes, there is a
/usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun-1.6.0.26/jre/lib/ext/java-atk-wrapper.jar
file that belongs root.root and is readable by all.
and accessibility.properties in the jre/lib.
Yes, that one is there, too.
In addition to comments, it contains this line:
assistive_technologies=org.GNOME.Accessibility.AtkWrapper
and has same owner, group and permissions than the jar file.
