visit:
http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/sources/gnome-speech/0.4/
and download the latest 0.4.10.
Unpack it in any directory change into it and do the following:
sudo apt-get build-dep gnome-speech
./configure --prefix=/usr --with-espeak-dir=/PathToEspeak
make
sudo make install
Again: Check out the messages after every step.
Quit and restart Orca, open the preferences dialog, switch to the speech 
tab and choose Espeak with the gnome-speech-driver.
Note: After the install you can also try:
test-speech
to check out whether the Espeak driver has been built.
