Hello Joanie,
first I admit that I was perhaps not really fair, because I don't know,
whether someone on the list can read German. But a few weeks ago I got a
tip
regarding a
Dutch radio site, and I was in a similar position; I don't know anything
about Dutch.
To specify the steps:
Open the URL, you got three possibilities to read the site, which one is
useful, provided you don't want to install additional plugins.
Try the two remaining links and look whether you can find radio programs;
as
far as I
explored the sites, only one does contain radio programs. Find out which
one?
There's only one subpage left, Provided you've found the propper link, I
help you a bit: Find "Senderauswahl", and open it. Find "SWR 2" and open
it.
Find the given time, which is a link, and read the content; it is a musical
program.
I have not really undrstood your second question. What I want to emphasise
is comparison of speed and responsiveness. How long does it take to explore
the sites with the different browsers/screenreaders? I chose a rather
complicated and for most of you unknown site to show the advantage a
reading mode could provide in quickly exploring an unknown page. I think
that Jaws and Window Eyes are some steps ahead.
BTW: Can you read the content of the final site, I mean the musical program
you shall find? FF3 and Orca don't show the text of the page, so I have to
use w3m under Linux; in Windows no problem at all.
Hermann
