Re: Orca strange text, was Re: Announcement of highlighted text

This seems like it might be a localization problem. I scoured the Orca
code, and the only reference I can find to David Lodge is the British
translation for Orca. It may be that it is remarkably out of date.

The "strange text" is the meta information from the used .po file. With a
german locale, orca speaks the same information from de.po.

This is the relevant part from de.po which Orca reads:
----------
"Project-Id-Version: de\n"
"Report-Msgid-Bugs-To: \n"
"POT-Creation-Date: 2006-09-03 12:17+0200\n"
"PO-Revision-Date: 2006-09-03 12:55+0200\n"
"Last-Translator: Hendrik Richter <hendrikr gnome org>\n"
"Language-Team: German <gnome-de gnome org>\n"
"MIME-Version: 1.0\n"
"Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8\n"
"Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit\n"
"Plural-Forms:  nplurals=2; plural=(n != 1);\n"
----------

For all of you reporting this oddness, are you using the en_GB locale?

I'm using de_DE euro
