Yes, I've built my system from scratch, starting off with help from
Linux From Scratch.
I'm using glibc-2.2.3 and gcc-3.0.3. (I've downloaded glibc-2.2.5 and will
keep staring at it until I can resist installing and breaking my system no
longer...).

This is the only program I have that goes like this - gnome-1.4 is fine.
Other parts of gnome-2 that I have made pass their make check fine. Would
the glibc list be a better place to take this up do you think? I guess
they will just tell me that I'd need to recompile glibc and keep its
symbols this time.
