Can you make it available to me? I am quite curious where the changes I
observe came from. They are quite a few, and if they are not in CVS I'm
curious how they ended up in the tarball.

My question was if it is technically possible to rewrite the cpp code
for *mc* in c and (through trickery) still keep interface compatibility.
A bit like linking Delphi (Pascal) to C code. This is possible through
compiler switches changing the stack cleanup behaviour (and probably
some alignment tricks).

Again, I'm not asking you to do this, just inquiring about the
theoretical possibility. It's a bit OT, I know ;) .
