I was worried about translation as well. But GNOME's full of verbs like
this -- think 'Open', 'Save', etc. -- and the translation teams have
probably found appropriate solutions already.
For example, the German transaltions doesn't use the German imperative
form. So, the above list may look like
[GNOME logo] Entdecken - Versuchen - Fragen - Erschaffen - Mitmachen
The German construction comes from sentences like "You should discover
(something)". There's no motivational aspect anymore; no "Do this now!"
