"pkg-config libxml-2.0 --modversion" gives me nothing executed on my current setup, pkg-config finds gtk+-2.0 and gtkmm-2.0. Even if I download and install libxml (for windows) separately the libxml-2.0.pc does not seem to get installed. Anyway, as soon as I get everything up and running I will post my experiences (step by step) to the list...
