After receiving some help in the GI IRC channel, I've built Grilo's
introspection support trying both the latest GI release and the repo's
HEAD: both pass the tests.

I've prepared the patches: tomorrow I'll try to review all the "transfer
mode" annotations ('transfer full' is no longer implicit: we have to
choose full, container or none) and send them to the list.

After that, I'll focus again on having the unit tests ready.
