I can't compile cvs version of gnumeric. I use a debian system (sid
version). I made a debian package to install properly libgsf because there
is not yet this package because no version of libgsf was released.
libgsf 1.2.0 is currenly making its way into project/experimental.
Like the debian package gal is in version 0.3 and the request is >=0.5,
I've filed a bug for that (#156283). Right now, 0.0.5 doesn't build yet due
to issues with libgnutls-dev, but that appears to be resolved soon
(#156366).
i start to compile from cvs too, but it request gnomeConf.sh that it not
present on my system.
That's a bit weird. gnomeConf.sh is only used for GNOME1 AFAIK; pkg-config
is its successor in GNOME2.
I search on http://packages.debian.org, if a package own this file and i
found libgnome-dev 1.4.1.7-2. But if i install the package it want to
desinstall libgnome2-dev
I can't reproduce that problem; you may want to try that again with current
sid - there have been lots of changes in the GNOME2 packages recently due to
the move to libpng3.
