Re: [GnomeMeeting-devel-list] Latest GM 0.99.0

Hi Damien,

Here's an update after testing again with 01.03 CVS.

It now works with quicknet (with the nixj driver) with seti home turned
off.

The audio test in the sound druid works with both OSS and Quicknet.

Testing the sound events now works as well when choosing OSS. Again,
seti home was affecting it.

The audio sliders do not work with OSS or Quicknet.

When choosing Tools/PC-To-Phone Account, the window is much too wide. At
least a third of it is off the screen. The two buttons marked
gnomemeeting just closes the window.

When I run the Configuration Druid from GnomeMeeting and go through all
the settings, when I hit Apply, sometimes GnomeMeeting locks up. I have
to kill it and restart it. However, all my changes are saved.

It looks like all the operational parts of GnomeMeeting 01.03 CVS,
except the audio sliders, are working OK, and the problems I had were
caused by seti home

Although I am at a loss as to why seti home affects GnomeMeeting the way
it is, especially since they have played nicely together in the past, I
am glad to know, and report, that Gnomemeeting is working well.

I'm sure that other people may run into the same problems if they are
running programs like seti home or other such programs. As a side note,
I ran seti home in the background with a nice level of 19.

I apologize for the confusion that this has caused. Your help in this
prompted me to go further in trouble shooting the problem then I would
have normally done. Thank you.

George
