I don't think anything I said implied a lack of a dependency-
checking mechanism.  Sure, RPM or whatever can be used for package
management.  I am mostly wondering about a easy-to-use GUI interface.
If you have specific ideas about what is good and bad about the
various alternatives, I'd be glad to hear them.
