But which one do I get? When I go to that page, Ubuntu is the first
choice. Should I try Glom for Fedora or one of the others?

You have Ubuntu Linux. So you should try thee Ubuntu Linux packages.

If I do, will it work on Ubuntu 10.04 or does that mean I have to
also install and learn the Fedora (or whichever) version of Linux? If
the latter part of that question is true, please recommend the Linux
version that would be easiest for a complete newbie to learn.
Remember, I'm new to both the OS and Glom. [If it's possible], I'd
rather stick with Ubuntu and get a version of Glom that would work on
it. Can you help me to get by without the examples? I'll be glad to
make some donation or pay for it, because I'm likely to be bugging you
a lot, assuming you're doing all this on your own.
