As I explained earlier, this is normal with the GIMP flatpak. This is a
limitation of the sandbox model of flatpak. Probably at some point, we
will come up with a suitable solution, but right now the link between
GIMP and darktable or RawTherapee simply won't work with flatpak.

There is just no short-term solution. We recommend to wait for your
distribution to add a GIMP 2.10 package if this feature being missing is
absolutely a deal-breaker (which I would understand!).
