The intersection of people contributing to both Mesa and GNOME is pretty
small. That's something I'd like to change, but it is the basic fact
today.
I don't see the LLVM dependency as any kind of "realignment" away from
GNU or anything of the sort - as far as I'm concerned from a release
management perspective, GCC will remain the default system compiler.
