I might have missed something but i think the original poster wants to open a Pdf attachment from his own Outbox/"Sent Items" folder. Surely that 'should' be possible even if the mail failed to deliver? I don't think he is asking if the mail is possible to send. It's in his local outbox/"Sent Items"
